1. Avoid Deep Pockets

Limit to 4x tool diameter. Deeper need specialty tooling.

2. Realistic Tolerances

Standard 卤0.025 mm. Precision 卤0.005 mm. Ultra 卤0.001 mm adds cost.

3. Standard Tooling

Corner radii min 1.5 mm. 3 mm when possible. Avoid custom tools.

4. Minimise Setups

Single orientation access. 5-axis ideal.

5. Material Utilisation

Titanium -150/kg. Nest parts efficiently. Near-net shapes.

6. Avoid Thin Walls

Min 0.5 mm small 1.0 mm structural. Thin walls cause vibration.
